In 1839, when President Andrew Jackson decides it's time for Texas to gain its independence from Mexico, he calls upon Flintlock Jones and his granson Christopher Groves. The pair can't wait to get into the action but get more than they bargained for when kidnappers, river priates, cutthroats, and bounty hunters lay in wait for them on a blood-soaked trail from Kentucky to hostile Texas territory.
