Oh my. As soon as this arrived I just had to sit down and read it. I have so many wedding books, but this one is refreshingly different. The words are funny, amusing, and worth it. The occasional sketch, however, makes it absolutely hilarious.

My fiancee looked at me odd when I told him my wedding book said on my wedding day I should lock myself in the bathroom. :) And the descriptions of overly-critical relatives? *snicker* Thankfully, I don't have that many relatives, but I'm sure some friends will step in to help out!

This book lives up to its (horrible pun) title. I was really tempted to keep mine, but I gave it to another friend who was married soon after me.

I kept re-opening it and giggling though. Any bride-to-be should read this book. Read The Conscious Bride for serious issues, and this one to make you laugh.

I liked the last line of the book... "Aside from the months you've spent recovering from being queen for a day, you've managed, despite the Tupperware--to emerge with your hipness miraculously intact, a few new appliances, and--oh yeah--a dreamy guy to spend the rest of your life with."
