This is the first volume of Mystery and the ministers wife. The new pastor and his wife, Kate and Paul Hanlon pull into town to their new Church Faith Briar in Copper Mill and see that their church is on fire.Why would anyone set a church on fire just as the new pastor and his wife pull into town? Paul and Kate were looking forward to this move from a much larger church in San Antonio back to the area where Paul was raised. Kate and Paul move into the parsonage and Kate begins to sleuth out the fire. She is shocked by her findings.
