Plot Summary: This book is M/M/F Menage. (the males have sex too). It is erotica. There is also BDSM as a focal point in the book, but the BDSM isn't too heavy. The basic plot is that Wolf Stone, an agent for the Hawkeye Agency is a key witness to putting a very bad man in prison for a very long time. He is refusing the protection of his agency. But two agents get onto his isolated 800 acre Rocky Mountain Ranch anyway, and much sex and protection ensues.

Main Characters: Wolf Stone-- the Dom or Master in D/s terms; also the man who is the witness in this very important trial. He is very alpha but sexy and not caveman like at all. I liked the guy. Nate Davidson-- an ex-lover of Wolf's, and now his lover again as well as an agent assigned to protect Wolf. He is a submissive/ beta male, and usually these aren't as appealing to me. Nate was. He was sweet AND masculine as well as smart and take charge when the need arose. The heroine is Kayla, also a very competent agent, and she is VERY sexually open minded, not naive, but with no experience in BDSM. She is very likable as a heroine, strong and determined, competent, smart, capable, sexy, a great female lead. All three characters were solid and likable.

Best About This Book: There is a strong but subtle sense of humor that runs throughout the book... mostly one liners that the characters shoot at one another. These work and are funny. I also really liked the characters. They were all intelligent, sexy and fun to read about.

Worst About this Book: Well, there isn't really much plot until the very end. I mean, the plot is set up, but then the book is almost all sex (Kayla has never participated in BDSM so the men are teaching her... and they ain't using books!! *Grin*) Anyway, so mostly sex which is usually boring to me, but in this case the interaction between the characters was so fun to read that I didn't mind the almost constant sex. I liked these people.

Summary: I liked this book a great deal. Enough to email the author and tell her how much I enjoyed it. She wrote me a very very nice email back and told me she was just winding up her next installment (this will be a series: Hawkeye Two: Bend Me Over). It wasn't a keeper, not quite enough plot to be a keeper, but it was a solid book for erotica, and I enjoyed it immensely. I paid full price and don't regret that. Definitely worth a credit.
