I'd recommend this if you've read and enjoyed the Coltons of Montana series. I had not read any of the other books, and while the love story, of course, makes sense the mystery was a little confusing. The hero's brother was incarcerated for killing a man who wasn't actually dead, and the hero's father seems to play a part in what's going on. Nothing is wrapped up in this book (except the happy ending) so if you like your stories finished all around, skip this one. The hero is good as town sheriff, but I don't know why the back blurb mentions his Navy SEAL background because it doesn't come up in the story in any way. The heroine is okay (a reformed bad girl) and her teenage daughter is well done.
