Growing up in a Catholic "guilt" depressed home, this book gave me the simple insight of "IT'S NOT IN WHAT YOU DO THAT DETERMINES WHO YOU ARE, IT'S WHO YOU ARE THAT DETERMINES WHAT YOU DO!" I no longer have to keep trying to be a good Christian in hope that I make it to heaven. The most inspiring part of this book was learning what true "confession" or repentance really is. I used to dread the confessional and never really knew what to confess. This book enlightens us on what sin is in many story forms that wakes you up to reality. Press on and finish even if you get to a tight spot. The annalogies/testimonies are encouraging and FREEING! I'm a slow reader but finished this one in maybe 3 hours. What a delightful, easy read!
