This book, like all Stephen King books, will grab you and not let you go until the turn of the final page. This book differs from all of his other novels because it begins and flows like a short story. It gets right to the point and doesn't waste any time with buildup. Don't get me wrong, a little suspense or background is a wonderful thing, but this book skips all of that and gets right to the point - the action. Mr. King is incapable of creating characters that I don't feel something for, whether it is to love them or to hate them so, although he doesn't waste time with background info, this is no exception...you truly want the victims to survive and for the evil forces to be taken down. Nobody, and I mean nobody, can take simple objects or actions and make them so, ummm, exciting. This is King for a new era and you don't want to miss it!
