At age 12 Supaya had a vision not knowing that it was the beginning of the end...that she was the last of her people to be blessed with the visons. Three times a bride, Supaya's men came from three different worlds but only one could bring the happiness she longed for. She watched her children abandon their sacred heritage, but she survived, returnng the the old ways seeking one who could inherit her pricelss gift. The story of a woman and the death of a tribe, the birth of the modern reservation Indian told through the eyes of a woman healer. Good story. Lengthy.
