Here's an especially good legal procedural with a uniquely realized protagonist. The plot features particularly flawed, yet still warmly likeable, characters and a twist at the end to leave the reader thinking. Some interesting peeks at the New York City justice system, with several insights that aren't offered in the usual novel. I'm looking forward to more from this intriguing author.
