G.B. Shaw was his friend, Kurt Vonnegut, Milas Kundera, and Arthur Miller recommend this author as a wonderful writer. This book is made up of this Czech's short stories, essays, and plays. He was ahead of his time when it came to voicing his radical ideas for his time and place. This book has a few examples of each type of writing.
