I picked this book out from a bargain shelf and noticed first off, that the CD was missing(so I can't post it). But I figured what the heck, I'm a big Alan Jackson fan, have seen him in concert and I wanted to know more from his wife's point of view. Well, first, let me say, having been a big Jackson fan, I didn't know what everyone else knew, because I seldom read the trash magazines.

I had no idea they had ever split up for a time, or why. I was actually upset when I read about this. But I had to keep going. Denise is beautiful and I found it hard to digest how much she worried about what other people thought. Their split caused her to dive deep into matters of faith and a personal relationship with God. I
didn't find Denise sharing her faith distasteful as I have with some other books. Maybe it's because I'm such a fan and also because I mostly believe everything she does. But if that kind of thing turns you off, consider yourself forewarned. The book was a fairly quick read and overall, I do recommend it!
