Another buddy read in my online book club, The Reading Cove. I can't agree with most of the other reviews here on this. I've renamed it BIG STONE YAWN.

The story line seemed to be of the "make it up as you go along" ilk. Much of the events surrounding Ave felt too contrived. Started off cozy and quaint, but contrived for happy-ever-after with everything.

I can't recommend, and I won't continue the series. :(
