A nicely written book between to people who are unlikey friends. A 'granny', Charlene Potterbaum and a Gay guy, James Pauley Jr. He's a flight attendant and he travels a lot so they email each other back and forth. Sometimes seriously, a lot of chuckles and a beautiful friendship full of understanding and learning. This book is quick read and a good read. I particularly like how Charlene asked questions about James being gay, trying to understand it and all the while keeping her love and friendship with him at the forefront of those questions. James, in his answers, finds out things about himself and answers her in love and friendship.
Gay or straight, I would recommend this book to anyone for a heartwarming read.
