Please feel free to take this review with a grain of salt, as I have not read book one in the series. If you have and enjoyed it, then by all means, request this one too. It just wasn't what I was expecting. I don't understand if the angels are still working for God because all they do in the story is search for their mate and fight against their enemies. Gabriel didn't deliver any messages at all! I also have trouble with a loving God giving his favored four 2000 years of frustration as a thank you gift and the concept of reincarnation. if none of that will bug you, go for it, because there is exciting action and likable characters. I'm just not going to seek out the rest of the series.
