This is a really cute book about Princess Pia Scarlett and her big sister, The Darling Milicent. The Darling Milicent mercilessly teases Princess Pia about her bed wetting problem, and how it will stop her from sleeping on the top bunk, and being able to look out the higher-up window and see all that's going on outside the castle.

Somehow, someway, in the middle of the night, she had to get up and go to the bathroom.

Well, little Miss Pia definitely has a very creative mind. It was fun watching her think about ways to stop peeing the bed overnight. My oldest, Lulu, had a good time too. As we read, she offered several suggestions to help Miss Pia on her quest. My youngest, Coco, relates to Pia because she has had more than a few bed wetting incidents over the past few months.

I was able to read through the story in one session with the girls, but it could have been split into more. If we had read it at bedtime, it would have been. Since we read it in the evening before dinner, the girls were wide awake, and eager to hear the complete story. The book is divided into chapters to make it easy to split up. As a mom, I appreciate the help in trying to figure out where to stop.

From all 3 of us this is a keeper for the kids' bookshelves.
