This was a very good book as all of Giles have been. It is how Hod and Mary met and married and their beginning years together first in the city where Mary had lived and worked then the move to the hill country in Kentucky.Part fiction part true,I have loved all their books abt. the people and ways of Piney Ridge and surrounding 'hollars & ridges'.
