Sounds like a travel book, eh. Not so! A British teacher of Spanish gets a windfall inheritance. (Doesn't this always happen in England?) Coincidently, he receives a scam letter from a Spanish prisoner asking for help. He decides to have some fun with it. On to Spain also to escape a sort-of girl friend who, along with her family, appears to have plans for him. This scam turns out to be a greater undertaking than he imagines, but of course it all turns out well in the end. Just how well/ Read the book.
