I only discovered this book and this author while browsing the site. I don't know what especially drew me to the book but I'm certainly glad it did. Definitely has an Event Horizon vibe. And like a previous reviewer, I would've liked it to be longer. I would've enjoyed further development of some of the characters and I found myself rationing out the final pages. The book is creepy...scary really, in just the right way. Not super gory, just oppressively creepy. It was just as much horror as sci-fi. Honestly, I haven't been this scared reading a book since I was a child. I loved it.
