This was a good enough book but it should be listed as young adult fiction as the main characters are older teens. I found it very hard to sympathize with them as a lot of their problems were based on immaturity. Also, I would highly advise not reading this book unless you've read the prior book first...there are a lot of places you will be totally lost if you don't have the backstory from the first book. Also, this book leaves you hanging at the end with a lot of the conflicts, and the third book isn't even out yet...it's one of those trilogies you might consider not reading until you have all 3 books in hand and can read them straight through.
