An innovative scientist may have actually contacted the dead---or at least he's contacted SOMETHING. Maybe they are our lost loved ones. Maybe they are the dead, but not loving. Maybe they are some other entities entirely, and not even remotely related to humankind. In any case--these entities might be hungry for more than the living can provide . . . willingly . . .
