When I began reading the book I found it a little difficult to understand the hawaiian terms, but I quickly caught on. The book could be hard for some to follow, but it was an easy read to me. I grew an attachment to the characters and hoped that they would find happiness. I was sad for the book to end since I would've loved to know what happened to the characters. I think a follow up book would've been nice.
