So, where are the clones? I believe I was promised clones.
Very disappointing. Focussed on the least interesting part of the story, the "burnt out cop, who has destroyed everything he touches in his life, makes one last try to redeem himself" cliche.
Be warned that the clones are a McGuffin. Multiple McGuffins: all but one disappear from the narrative within a few aimless pages. Realizing that I have over 100 pages to go, I realized that I just didn't care ...
