These characters were introduced in Kristin Hardy's Holiday Hearts: Trask Brothers Trilogy and now they have a book of their own. Lanie and JJ, they have known each other forever because he is a friend of her family and now they become lovers ... she keeps expecting the worst of him because she consider's him a playboy at heart, he keeps trying to prove to her that there is more to him than she thinks ... fun story because it is set in Salem, Mass. around Halloween
