cAN A LADY FIND LOVE...
Spirited Pamela Neville is quite certain that she is not cut out to be a lady, especially after the debacle of her first abbreviated Season. In fact, she has no intention of ever subjecting herself again to the glittering social whirl...until her grandmother lures her to London with in irresistible offer. The indomitable dowager promises to teach her everything she needs to know to elicit a proposal from Sir Colin Valens, the man Pamela has adored since childhood.

...ON THE SECOND TRY?
Soon Pamela is learning how to walk, talk and dress...with beguiling results. But the green-eyed gamine can only be demure for so long. Fed up with all the restrictions, she takes a very unladylike ride in Hyde Park. Which brings her to the attention of Malcolm Bercombe, the darkly compelling sixth Earl of Strongwycke. Suddenly, Pamela is falling for a handsome bachelor who seems to find her entrancing just for being herself. Yet when Sir Colin turns up determined to woo her, will Pamela realize which suitor is worthy of her headstrong heart?

Review: Good book. I only gave it 3.5 stars because I find it a little annoying when the main character can't decide which of the two men she loves and wants to marry and keeps them strung along. I just found her annoying and weak at that point and didn't really believe that someone who was so headstrong and used to jumping into impetuous decisions would dither over a decision like that because she was afraid of the risk.
