Taken from the back of the book. "It all started with the social studies teacher's extra-credit assignment: come up with a plan to change the world for the better, and do it. Twelve-year-old Trevor McKinney began by doing something good for three people. But instead of paying him back, he asked them to "pay it Forward" by doing a favor for three more people, who n turn would help three others, and so on, each act as a link in a chain of human kindness."
If you have seen the movie but have not read the book yet, please read the book. The book has some major differences and some minor ones. The concept of this touching story is still there. I enjoyed how the Author let each character tell their story. It shows their perspective of what is going on and how they are or are not handing it. I loved the movie, loved the book more.
