I love this series of books by Janwillem van de Wetering. De Gier and Grjipstra and the commisaris (spelling is probably wrong) are wonderful characters and the Zen-like quality of writing appeals to me. I've gotten to know the characters and will be sad to finish all of these books in the series. Quirky humor and stories.
