As someone who has always been interested in history and criminals, I thought this would be a great read for me. It was given to me by my mother-in-law, who had also read it.

Although it had interesting stories that ranged from late 1800's to the early/mid 1900's, it was poorly written. Each chapter was about either a person or a specific event (such as a train robbery) and none of them flowed very well together. Overall, it was very choppy writing.

I still would recommend this book to some who lives in or has a history with Washington State because it is fascinating to hear about the places that you know. Just don't expect a really compelling book; it is a fast and easy read.
