Publishers Weekly writes-"A sweeter smoother edged American South beckons! Conjures up the comfortable if ornery charms of a legendary culture." I say it's pretty good reading about a town split in half. Half is red-neck like and the other citified. Great entertainment. You'll fall in love with the characters.
