Bubbles has wowed thousands of fans with her investigative savvy, high-energy adventures, and original beauty products readers can ake at home. Now her antics land her in jail with a murder suspect named crazy Popeye, who grants Bubbles an exclusive interciew shortly before keeling over herself.

Popeye had been wrongly accused of killing beloved Principal Schmidt, making bubbles's interview notes a hot commodity among a romance-obsessed police detective, a Polish mafioso, and a dentist with an appartent foot fetish. Meanwhile, Bubble's slimy ex-husband, Dan, demands her help in getting him out of major hot water while longtime oyfriend Stiletto asks if she'll pose as his fiancee in order to stave off an overseas job transfer. When he plunks a Harry Winston rock (even better than one from Service Merchandise!) on Bubble's finger, only the specter of an all-you-can-eat pierogi wedding buffet down at the Polish-American Club, the inevitable result if her mother LuLu finds out, stops Bubbles from blurting out "es!"

Juggling escapades and masquerades in BUBBLES BETROTHED, our not-so-scatterbrained bleached-blond once again flits between crime scenes with unflappable verve. Like us, Bubbles frequently messes up, but she always pulls herself back onto her tottering high heels and heads back into the fray.
