Charity House Courtship by Renee Ryan
Charity House Series book 5
Laney OConnor has started Charity House for herself and the children like her.those whos mothers were or are prostitutes. She wanted a home for them to live in rather than the brothels or saloons many were being raised in. Laney was determined to keep Charity House open, even when threatened with foreclosure. Seeing men in the negative sense growing up, Laney struggles to trust them. Even the very handsome hotel owner.

Marc Dupree had been duped by one woman five years ago. After she stole every penny he had he knew another woman would never get the best of him. Finding a woman of questionable character in his hotel hes torn between hoping shes really different and the memories from before where he never wants to trust another woman.

This is the 5th book but it brings us back to the beginning where Laney O'Connor meets Marc Dupree. A woman who dont trust men and a man who dont trust women.what does that equal? A very intriguing story. If you enjoy books within series, the previous four books in this series are good as well. The series is in the following order: The Marshal Takes A Bride, Hannahs Beau, Loving Bella and The Lawman Claims His Bride. Going back to the beginning is always fun to me as I enjoy seeing a different side of the characters I already met in their own books.
