I'm torn on this book. I enjoyed the story and romance. Rene is a strong individual with a tortured past, and Tessa is the same - making the two a perfect fit for each other. The story kept me engaged, but the ending threw me. It was hurried, abrupt, with no HEA (agh!) I felt like it was missing a few chapters, which I suspect is exactly where the next book begins... I hope.
