This book is very simple but in a funny way, about a boy named Homer Price who's always getting into fixes and messes innocently enough--but they always turn out ok or better then if he had planned them which he doesn't. A good, clean, fun read for children of all ages really.

BACK COVER: "Remember me? I'm Homer Price. Sometimes I think it's a good idea to hide behind a magazine. 'Cause when this town of Centerburg gets stirred up,anything can happen.

Take the time Duley Dooner inherited a jar of seeds labeled EXPERIMENT 13. And the day the stranger came to town selling cans of EVERSOMUCH MORE-SO. And then, when Uncle Ulysses got a new record for his juke box...I still shudder when I think of it."
