Acting as best man at his client's wedding to Maddie Holiday, movie producer Blake Randall can't help notice how unhappy her sister, the bridesmaid, looks. And while not looking to get involved, he wants to make her happy.Aspiring actress Kate Holiday is disconsolate: her sister is marrying mega star Lachlan, the man she has been in love with for four years. When Blake begins paying her attention, she can't believe it. Lachlan warns her off, saying that Blake will offer her a tiny part, bed her and discard her. But Blake seems so kind and genuine, and she has nothing to lose: she goes to Hollywood with him, but is determined to fend for herself on the movie scene. While the characters are fairly standard, the plot is not completely predictable.
