Wonderful children's book! My daughter's favorite. She read most of it aloud to two of her young cousins while camping one weekend. We got rained out and had to pack up early. The cousins loved the story so much, they made their parents immediately go to the library to check the book out, so they could hear the end of the story!
Julie Andrews Edwards is a favorite author of ours. Our family believes The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles to be her best book--a book to be devoured in one sitting! Once you've read that, check out her Little Bo series!
