The story is somewhat predictable but a few surprises are thrown in when Jermaine and Candaces unplanned romance is exposed by Chantal Dixon, a tabloid gossip columnist who hires a detective to trail the couple and exposes Hill's fall from grace. Jermaine's religious epiphany toward the novel's end feels a bit rushed and too easily accepted. However, A Man Inspired is appreciated by this reviewer for its uplifting Christian message.
