Wow! I went into this looking forward to reading about her experience of coming from a conservative Christian background, being gay, and of course how being famous complicated her journey even more. I have absolutely no interest in country music, but I was not disappointed as I appreciated her honesty and authenticity in her story. I personally related to aspects of her story, which made it an interesting read. I also was intrigued by the journey of becoming a famous musician. There were a lot of details that I wasn't as interested in reading, but this memoir was an important part of her journey and every detail was important for her to share. This project was a personal one for her, and every detail deserved attention and respect. Well done :-)
