The horse Wind Son he claims is his although the citizens hold a sale receipt signed by his grandfather who could not read or write.

This terrific western romance combines a fine outdoor adventure with a delightful family love story both inside a fabulous law enforcement investigative story line. Jed's inquiries are delightful to follow as he seeks clues that could result in his being murdered by those who prefer their violent economic gain remain hidden. His relationship with the two men in his life showcases an honorable sandwich person while his love for Sadie and hers for him grips the audience who hopes Wind Son kicks some senses into his head.
