Awful, awful book. Interesting concept, more poorly executed than I can say. I couldn't even finish it, I'd just had enough. I don't need to hear fifty thousand times how beautiful she is. If she's really that beautiful, once should suffice. If she's really that intriguing, once should suffice. The way Moline has to keep going on and on about it, it becomes apparent this story is not intriguing, or interesting, nor is Moline a good writer. Something should've tipped me off here, the drawing of Belladonna on the cover bears a very close resemblance to Ms. Moline herself. If you want to read a story about a fantasy world a woman has created for herself, where she is the most beautiful and desirable thing in the country, read Ms. Moline's self indulgent tripe.
