I think it's a first book for the author and what a gem!
A family therapist, Pickett Sessoms, needs a little help herself. She offers to help Jax Graham, a Navy Seal who needs a safe place to stay with his son during a hurricane. And then she falls in love. He's not so sure of the safety of loving a woman again, but he needs help with his four year old son. Soon he discovers that its not just needing her to help with his son. Jax discovers he needs her, too.
