Stroby is great at capturing dialogue and the gritty urban streets. One of those stories where nearly everyone is corrupt in one way or another. You may guess some of the book's twists and turns, but that's not the worst thing in the world. If you like noir, the writer definitely does create that dark, edgy noir mood.
