Yes, this chronicles the experiences of two teachers who ate for one month on a dollar a day, and several other food experiments after that. It is not a book on How to Eat on a Dollar a Day. It is not an expose on the practices of the food industry as the list of dashes seems to suggest. The description also does not mention that the writers endorse a vegetarian lifestyle.
