This book is a fantasy novel with adventure heavily mixed in with a topping of romance. Although I've just read the first book in this trilogy it's very satifying. If you like stong female characters that can hold their own you will greatly enjoy this book. R'shiel the main character is something else( that is an understatement). She is wonderfully written and you care deeply for this young lady and you root for her all through out the story. This young woman goes through more of life's curves than a character in a soap opera. Whatever you do don't start reading this book while cooking dinner you will burn it(personal experience there). This book is a trilogy And It grabs you and holds you throughout the book I have ordered the second installment and will post that book also after I've completed it. Enjoy.
