Wow, I HATED this book. I don't usually read erotica but a friend gave this to me and I thought I'd give it a try. I read most of it, but had to stop after it gave me nightmares. I just think it is really demeaning and gross. It is based on the most debase human sexual appetites and includes an ape raping a woman and all kinds of dominance games that I, personally, don't find erotic or particularly interesting. I felt like I needed a shower after reading this book. I'm not opposed to eroticism in a romance novel or other genre of literature, but only when I feel some sort of positive emotional connection to the characters and it enhances the story. Pure eroticism is so not my cup of tea if this book is an indication of what it is usually all about.
