Based on the cover of this book, I was worried that it was going to be hundreds of pages filled with descriptions of the main characters gazing into each others' eyes. The romance elements were delayed until towards the middle of the book, and this instead turned out to be an entertaining (though a tad cheesy) paranormal thriller.
