Book Review of Jacques Cousteau : The Ocean World

Jacques Cousteau : The Ocean World
reviewed on

If you are interested in marine biology, this is the first book you should read. It sets the benchmark for comparison of then vs. now, whets your appetite for more, and introduces you to ecological concerns in a personal way. Cousteau is the master of his world and no one does it better, IMHO. Makes you want to be an oceanographer and inspires awe and wonder and repeat reading for years. Beautiful photography, rich detail, and a great book to share with children of all ages. Great resource to have for science classes.
