Plus-sized California PI Savannah Reid is working security at a beauty pageant. The money's good and she needs to keep an eye on her baby sister, Atlanta who has traveled all the way from Georgia for the Miss Gold Coast contest. When Atlanta's roommate disappears and is found dead, Savannah swings into action, although not soon enough to prevent another murder. I always enjoy books set at beauty pageants or spas and I love Savannah so what could be better?
