Volume five introduces some of the "naughty" humor Ken Akamatsus uses to such good effect in his future series, Love Hina. THIS is what he's good at, and finally has found his niche as a manga-ka in this, his first series. Storyline deals with enlarged breasts, horny teenage boys (and some rather unusual underwear) and Saati's uninhibited side when drunk.
I enjoyed Love Hina and Negima from this manga-ka, and thus looked up A.I. Love You, his first series. To date, I've enjoyed the process of watching Akamatsu's development and progress from book one as the series continues, but I haven't really enjoyed this storyline as much as his other series. But, this book was the most fun of the entire series to date.
