Charming text and great photos for duplicating "Charming" Country details. Specific to an older home, there are also lots of great ideas for "using what you have" and for incorporating flea market and thrift shop finds into everyday, "Country-style" decor. Barbara Rogers encompasses a whole industry and uses a combination of paint, textures, antique and "vintage" furnishings, great craft projects to assist the "nature" of decor, along with the essentials of great design-the "details" of odds and ends and decorator products that can be purchased new, used, or created from your own hands.

Good book if you are searching for "Country-style" or "Cottage-style" decor. LIke an expended version of the magazine "Country-Life", without the ads!
