16-year-old Martin Miller and his long-widowed mother had a good life in Winnemucca, Nevada. That is, until Mom Miller met Joe Wonderful. Then Marty's life became a chaotic mess. Mom and Joe got married, and dragged Marty to their new home, in Seattle; then went on a European honeymoon. Marty's new stepbrother was not real happy with the sleeping arrangements, so he decided to evict Marty's belongings via the second-story window. That's how Marty Miller came to live in Little Red Rock Canyon, Idaho. Hmmm.

A good story about a young man coming to terms with life, and himself. Told in journalistic first-person teen attitude. This is a pretty entertaining novel.
