These are just plain adorable and fun YA books. They delve into the legitimate and very confusing feelings of a teenager, but in a way that doesn't put off an adult. You yearn for DJ to make good decisions and follow her heart -- and she rarely disappoints you. It's a nice throw back to your own youth, but with the wholesome goodness of a dairy farmer's daughter at the helm.
